What is Storyshift (Teach Tale Undertale animation Canon vs Fandom)
490Storyshift is an Undertale AU created by voltrathelively on Reddit. Like Underswap, it involves some characters changing places role-wise with others while keeping their original personalities. What makes Storyshift unique, though, is that the characters are "shifted" in pairs into other pairs' roles, as opposed to with each other, such as Sans having Asgore's role and Papyrus having Toriel's role, while still keeping their original personalities, and relationships intact. There's also some modifications to the story that puts a twist on the original Undertale canon.
Storyshift was said to possibly include other shifts, depending on Voltra's motivation. Some have theorized how the shifts were made, as in everything were changed on this Universe but there is nothing said canonically. A shift shows the Neutral, Pacifist and Genocide routes before proceeding to the next shift. Only the ten "major" characters, excluding Frisk, have their roles shifted, unless changed in another shift.
The AU got cancelled do to Voltra being very unhappy with it, and later rebooted.

Sans (/sænz/) is the brother of Papyrus and a major character in Undertale. He first appears in Snowdin Forest after the protagonist exits the Ruins. He serves as a supporting character in the Neutral and True Pacifist routes, and as the final boss and heroic antagonist in the Genocide Route.
Papyrus appears as a tall lengthy skeleton with a small toothy grin, skeletal hands and small eye sockets. He wears an orange hoodie, usually with "indirect text posts" written on it and green shorts with a pair of orange sneakers. He often wear words on his hoodie.
Personality
Papyrus is laid back and flippant, often fooling around on the job and taking breaks. His laziness is a combination of nihilism and apathy. He wonders if his indolence stems of from his knowledge that any progress he makes will be erased when the timeline resets. Conversely, he suggests that is knowledge could be "a bad excuse for being lazy." However despite this, Papyrus is more energetic than Undertale Sans.
Though Papyrus is usually agreeable, he can be serious in particular events. He is also observant; Papyrus reads the protagonist's expressions and can often know when they already done certain things. He enjoys playing pranks and the fact he entertains at NTT resort hints that he may be a talented jokester. He enjoys fantasy stories and loves to drink honey. He also hates making promises just like Classic Sans.
