I know next to nothing about this game. I know it's a Rogue-like, so you'll reset to a degree on death, and your success is partly determined randomly from the drops you pick up on a given run.

When I first heard the game title, I thought it was stupid. I still have my hesitance about the title. But I was at Gamestop and heard a trailer for it, and the voice acting made it sound compelling. So I started getting interested. This was long before I had a chance to get a PS5. I didn't think I'd buy the game, but it seemed like an interesting PS5 exclusive, so I figured I'd try it.

I prefer knowing nearly nothing about the game. That increases the sense of discovery. The game doesn't seem to have a sinister sense of humor, but I presume that could change eventually. I have a lot of rules and limits to figure out before I'll think I finally get the gameplay.

This video leads up to my first death.

Update: After 77 deaths and having finally beaten the boss of biome 2, I can see the difference between that playstyle and this one. I knew nothing of this world and just wanted to get familiar and take it in. Now it's all old hat.
