So this trick was originally found by trying to get into the final room of The Great Journey early. We were looking for a way to get into the Control Room shaft, but we had no clue how to get that down. So we found a Halo 2 trick video where a longtime H2 trick guy named Grumpy was able to get the Wraith onto the platform on the final structure.

We were able to find a way to get a Wraith on the platform, by destroying its wings. Now, if you're looking at that final tower on The Great Journey, you might think "There is absolutely no way that someone can get a whale of a vehicle on that. Where would you even take it?" But, we found a way. With that, let's get into this little Halo 2 glitch.

Players: 1-2
Difficulty: Any
Skulls: Acrophobia, Boom, Sputnik, Feather, Black Eyem and Bandanna
Mission: The Great Journey

1. GETTING THE VEHICLES IN PLACE

Have one player drive a Wraith, Spectre, and Ghost off the cliff at the beginning of the mission.

2. LAUNCHING OUTSIDE THE MAP

You can either use the Acrophobia skull to fly outside of the beach area or you can launch a a vehicle past the two symmetrical Forerunner support structures. If you land between the cliff edge and the beginning of the support structures, you will die. Once you get outside of the area and can confirm the death barrier did not kill you, you can now walk over to the vehicles.

3. PUTTING VEHICLES ON THE FINAL PLATFORM

Once you're outside of the map barrier, take all of your vehicles up the left most rock in front of the structure. Using each vehicle, you'll have to wheelie them onto the rock. Essentially all you have to do is hold your jump button or crouch button (if on PC) while boosting. You'll get a slight amount of air and you'll be able to climb most any surface in Halo 2 with these three vehicles.

Once on the rock, head to the back part of the left side of the tower. The right spot if where the grass meets the flat structure before it turns into a narrow edge.

Ghost Wheelie, Spectre Wheelie, and Wraith Wheelie over these raised surfaces and get them up the ramp and onto the platform below. Using the Wraith, you must have broken wings or you will not be able to do this. If you get stuck, one player will need to bash the front bottom of the wrath while the other person boosts the Wraith simultaneously.

After you've gotten them to the lower platform, take the vehicles and drop them to the final door at the base of the sloped part of the front of the tower.

4. POSITIONING VEHICLES TO CLIP THROUGH THE WALL

Take the Ghost and park it with the both the front wig tip and back left both touching towards the middle of the door. Your character model will be getting out to the left. Now use the Wraith and wheelie it over the Ghost, making sure to try and cover the ghost mostly to the left. WARNING: if you do not wheelie, you will have a chance to blow up the Ghost with the impact. This can also happen while doing the wheelie, so be careful when you're boosting the Wraith above the ghost and onto it.

Now park a Spectre on top of the front right wing of the Wraith, making sure that the Ghost is well-covered and there aren't any significant gaps.

5. CLIPPING THROUGH THE WALL

Get in the Ghost from the the top of the front end of the Wraith. Once you're in, get out. If you haven't clipped through the wall, you'll need more coverage. Adjust accordingly until you get it.

BOOM! You can now explore the room and that weird thing on the ceiling.
