Days Gone and Rage 2 are both fairly similar games- they are both AAA single player post apocalyptic open world shooters, but Days Gone does one specific thing way better than Rage 2. Spider-Man did it, Mad Max did it, Assassin's Creed Black Flag did it... Such a simple thing can make a bland open world into a game great and that thing is... Navigation and traversal.
