The Suicide Squad director explains why King Shark’s eyes are so far apart. James Gunn said he did tests with the original hammerhead design. King Shark was never going to be an incredibly fit or shredded animal, Gunn said. The movie will release simultaneously in theaters and on the streaming service HBO Max on August 6.
