When getting started in wow it can be hard, especially as a beginner, to pick a race to play. what faction is best, does race matter, male or female, etc are all valid questions to get started on your first character, a new alt, or a comeback to the game with a fresh start. let's break down some things to think about in this beginner guide to picking a race in wow. This is during battle for azeroth and my main has been a tauren when i play horde (current and first ever main from classic) and night elf when i play alliance, but this information should hold up for beginners everywhere.
