A crash involving a semi-truck on I-96 near Webberville in Ingham County resulted in four fatalities and 17 injuries. The semi-truck collided with vehicles stopped in traffic due to a construction project, causing a devastating fire. Victims included two women and a man from Lansing, and another individual from Carson City. The driver of the semi, still hospitalized, is under investigation for potential charges. All but two of the seriously injured have been released from the hospital.
