UPDATE: December 7th, 2018. Obsidian's new game was officially revealed last night at The Game Awards! It is The Outer Worlds and I think it looks great! Definitely similar to what I was expecting. Sci-fi RPG set in a retro styling. Seems like it has a lot of potential.
One thing though is that it will be coming to Xbox One , PlayStation 4 and PC. Seems like Private Divisions contract is still holding. However I will say that if there's a sequel after this game (I know that would be a while away) I could see Microsoft getting exclusivity.

Discussing what Obsidian's next project could be. "The Outer Worlds" certainly sounds like an interesting title for a new game.
