Here's how to find out your IP Address.

There are many ways to find your IP address. Here are a few methods:

* **Use a website.** There are many websites that can tell you your IP address. Simply visit one of these websites and your IP address will be displayed on the page.
* **Use a command prompt.** If you're on a computer, you can use the command prompt to find your IP address. Open the command prompt and type "ipconfig". Your IP address will be displayed in the output.
* **Use a network scanner.** A network scanner is a software program that can scan your network for devices. When you run a network scanner, it will display the IP addresses of all the devices on your network.

Once you have your IP address, you can use it to do a variety of things, such as:

* **Find out your location.** You can use an IP address lookup service to find out your approximate location based on your IP address.
* **Block unwanted traffic.** You can use a firewall to block unwanted traffic from reaching your computer. If you know the IP addresses of the devices that you want to block, you can add them to your firewall's blacklist.
* **Track down hackers.** If you think you've been hacked, you can use your IP address to track down the hacker. Once you know the hacker's IP address, you can report it to the authorities.

Here are the steps on how to find your IP address on different devices:

**On a Windows computer:**

1. Open the Start menu.

5. Your IP address will be displayed under "IPv4 Address".

i. It is possible that 192.168 is your IP address. The 192.168.0.0/16 block of IP addresses is reserved for private networks, such as home networks. So, if you are connected to a home network, your IP address may start with 192.168.

However, it is also possible that 192.168 is not your IP address. If you are connected to a public network, such as a coffee shop or library, your IP address will be different.

To find out your IP address, you can use one of the methods I described above.

ii. There are a few reasons why 192.168.1.1 might not be opening. Here are a few things to check:

* **Make sure you are connected to the correct network.** 192.168.1.1 is the default IP address for most home routers. If you are connected to a public network, such as a coffee shop or library, 192.168.1.1 will not work.

iii. The difference between a private and a public IP address is that a private IP address is used in a local area network (LAN) and cannot be accessed from the internet, while a public IP address is assigned by an internet service provider (ISP) and can be seen by other devices on the internet.

A private IP address is only unique within the same LAN, but a public IP address is unique globally. A private IP address helps devices communicate within the LAN, while a public IP address helps devices communicate with the internet.

To know if your IP address is private or public, you can check the IP ranges that are reserved for private use. These are:

- 10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255
- 172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255
- 192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255

If your IP address falls within any of these ranges, it is a private IP address. Otherwise, it is a public IP address.
