what's wrong with my Pulse 3D headset?

Hello everyone. As you can see in this broadcast I am streaming using the Playstation Pulse 3D wireless headset. I think the headset works really well at producing sound but more often than not I find the microphone cuts in and out at an unacceptable rate.

My question is does this happen to everyone or is my headset defective.

Most days I stream using a much cheaper wired headset and never have any problems with the mic.

Oh and the pdp gaming headset is adjustable.

I am not sure if this video will show the issue I am talking about and I would not be surorised if it is perfect the entire stream.
