What’s Wrong With The State Of DevOps?
The State of DevOps Report is an annual event. In past years this report has provided valuable insight into what works in Software Development and what does not. The model that the report is built on has, for the first time, provided an important foundation on which to build evidence-based decisions. Each year people look forward to the new version with some anticipation, this year’s “State of DevOps 2020” report though leaves more questions than answers.
In this episode, Dave Farley of Continuous Delivery offers his review and critique of this year’s report. What new lessons can we learn, but also talks about the importance of being able to support decisions with evidence rather than only opinion.
