A lot of cartoons are usually created when a studio is looking for new ideas and turns to their in-house talent. Developing an idea into a pilot and in the best-case scenario, that pilot lands a full series pickup. But sometimes things don’t work out despite the show being a fantastic idea! Maybe a network will pass on it, or it’ll run for a season or two before getting the boot. Either way, these shows need a hero and once in a blue moon, one will emerge to rescue it from the clutches of wasted potential. You guys really dig these kinda videos that get into the nitty gritty of animation, so today we’re gonna take a look at instances where cartoons change channels! Examining why these shows switched homes, how they changed as a result and if these changes were for the better. From Phineas and Ferb to Star vs the Forces of Evil, Adventure Time, Samurai Jack, Futurama, Johnny Test and more!
