This is the third problem in our series, and things are getting interesting! We've got exponentiation, operations inside parentheses, and multiplication outside parentheses.

This is a very common expression that can appear on a test – and it often leads to mistakes. In this episode, you'll see how to write everything out calmly, step by step. You'll also learn why in math, you shouldn't trust "eyeballs" – even if the expression looks familiar, all it takes is one incorrectly solved parentheses and the entire result is wrong.

The next problem? Even more difficult – with more operations and subtraction.
