When GURU GOBIND SINGH JI shot an arrow at the MUGHAL ARMY at ANANDPUR SAHIB, the forces halted their advance. BHAI DAYA SINGH said to GURU JI "Shoot another 10-12 arrows and the rest of the army would flee". GURU GOBIND SINGH JI replied "I AM NOT PERMISSED FOR BATTLE, OR ELSE I WOULD HAVE DESTROYED THIS ARMY WITHIN THE BLINK OF AN EYE"
