The Lilo & Stitch franchise was seemingly over in before the 2010's, but that was only the perception of it to western audiences as the property of Lilo & Stitch continued on in many unique ways all around the world. Specifically through two sequel shows. One was an anime in Japan simply titled Stitch! The other came out in China and was titled Stitch & Ai. Beyond this, there was some more interesting adventures for Stitch through other forms of media, like Manga, a book series and more all before we would come back around to now have the Lilo & Stitch live action film that was remaking the original Lilo & Stitch movie. One common theme though is between the original movies and Lilo & Stitch The Series to now with the live action movie... is that for some reason, Lilo was dropped from the picture, making the whole franchise mainly about Stitch for nearly 20 years. Let's talk about it!
