Hamtaro, the little hamsters going on big adventures! Despite having a full on anime series and a bunch of video games come to North America, the property of Hamtaro never really took off in the same ways it did in Japan. Today I want to take a look at the origins of Hamtaro, see how it truly started out and became this massively popular franchise to then how it came to the U.S. and what happened to it not hitting those same popularity levels after being a part of Toonami on Cartoon Network.
