Do you have friends who take gaming a little too seriously? Well, my Apex Legends squad has taken things to a whole new level. They've decided to turn our matches into a roleplaying game, complete with walkie-talkies and soldier-like banter.

Now, don't get me wrong, I appreciate their commitment to the bit. But it's hard to focus on getting those sweet victories when I'm surrounded by friends shouting things like "over and out" and "copy that, soldier" while pretending to be military personnel.

I've tried to join in on the fun, but I just end up feeling like a total goofball. And when I don't participate, I feel like the odd one out. It's a tough situation to be in.

But hey, maybe I'm just not cut out for this level of roleplaying. I mean, I can barely remember to use my abilities, let alone keep up with their intricate backstories and imaginary missions.

All I know is, when my friends are roleplaying while in Apex Legends, it's a wild ride. And I'm just trying to hang on for dear life and maybe get a few kills along the way.
