Such as, you wouldn't drop everything when defeated in Terraria! So that's cool, right? Well, hold tight: They got Mediumcore, which will, indeed, drop every item when defeated. The trouble is, you'll literally drop everything, even one of your most important items in game... Quite harsh for punishment, and you may never retrieve it since you have no items... There's your solution: Get Soft Mediumcore!
