"When The Last Foam Sword Is Drawn"
This is a tale from the Edo period of Japan, passed down from generation to generation through woodblock print scrolls. In 1927, a film adaptation was created, but modernized; changing a few key details to appease the FCC of Japan's rigorous no blood standard.
"Tanaka Kenshiro (Kenshi) is Samurai legend. After dispelling the Oni Clan from Osaka, by means of the "A! B! C!" spiritual sword dance, he passes on the SECRET technique to wandering Ronins that pass through Sapporo Village. Unchi, a young swordstriker with a furry lip and furious determination wants to rise to be the next Oni Slaying Gurandomasutā. However, he has Extreeeeeme competition among the fold. Gurēheddo, an elder Oni Slayer has entered the tournament - for the 80th year. Unchi feels immense confidence in the speed of youth! Unchi knows the Old Man doesn't stand a chance! However, confidence is fleeting like the change of seasons. A young Kappa by the name of Wakai Penisu enters the tournament and gives Unchi the fight of his life."
The Short film "Steven Seagall Hapkido Geriatrics" will play after the feature.
