When the Midnight Train Is Passing
23Written on October 26, 2015, this is an original piano composition about a Midnight Train. When I was young and would visit my grand parent''s house there was a train track only a block away and every night around midnight the train would come through. There was something hypnotic about hearing the rumble of the train while lying to sleep at night. This has a bit of a bluesy feel and with the subtle underlying rumble of the train at times. I feel a lit bit of yearning and wanderlust in this piece. This can also be heard on streaming services worldwide such as Spotify and others and recorded exactly as written.
