5When We Walk chronicles the life of disability rights activist and filmmaker Jason DaSilva as he confronts the next chapter of his life. Picking up where his Emmy-award-winning documentary, When I Walk, left off, DaSilva finds himself faced with a multitude of challenges. When his marriage ends and his ex-wife and three-year-old son move to Texas, new obstacles emerge as he struggles to relocate from New York City to remain close to this son. It's a journey that takes him through the inconsistencies of America's broken Medicaid system.
