When you could play as Missingno
1,665Street Fighter Alpha Anthology featured one of the most interesting and fun additional modes of any Street FIghter game. It allowed you to choose any variation of any character who had appeared in any SFA game. Including some of the extra, hidden character modes, this meant that there were 100s of variations to choose from.
This also meant that it was obviously very difficult to play test. So simply choosing Dictator or Sagat while holding start and choosing SFA2 mode gave you this weird, glitch character. It feels like a 'base' character, with the moves of Ryu but without basic abilities like special/super cancelling, completely broken throw animations and missing hitboxes.
This phenomenon was discovered very soon after the game came out because, as I said you only have to select a certain variation of Dictator or Sagat.
