When You Listen to Too Much Bach (15 Variations on the Goldberg Bass) VIDEO
I get obsessed with things sometimes... and lately it's been the bass line from Bach's Goldberg Variations! Well, really just the first 8 notes, which Bach also uses as the basis for a set of 14 canons (BWV 1087). Here's my spin on the Goldberg bass, scored for jazz trio. I recorded it on harpsichord but it could also work on piano.
