Don't die alone is a spooky visual novel part of a visual novel horror jam, but I just came across it when a friend of mine said it was actually pretty scary. Turns out they were right, it's a slow burn, but even the first scare got me really good! We follow Petra, a young gal who's got a job taking care of the elderly. During her job on halloween night, she got a spooky chain mail message, one of which she disregards immediately. Those things are never real. But...we start seeing things out of the corner of our eyes, hearing strange sounds, and soon enough the old lady we were taking care of vanishes...
