Where 5e Fails for Me - Player Challenge
There’s a lot about 5e I don’t care for, and one of those things is how Wizards of the Coast hates to challenge their players. They give the players a nearly bottomless toolbox of ways to not REDUCE challenges, but to completely eliminate them. These kind of tools are fine in a single player adventure as we often see in video games, but when you have the option to form a party where each player can get a challenge negating ability, the adventure turns into a pointless cakewalk. Or at least, that’s how I feel. How do you feel about it? Watch the video and share your thoughts in the comments!
