Where exactly did Call Of Duty: WWII go wrong? How did one of the biggest titles of this year that managed to sell amazingly well still manage to fail in the sense of not being able to retain an active player base long after the full launch of the game? How did the game that had so much potential and that was meant to close this year off with a bang in the gaming scene let players down and in turn end the year of 2017 with a low note?

Well, today we are going to talk about that. This is not meant to be a flat out documentation of the success or failure that is Call Of Duty: WWII but rather talk about the disappointment that many had with the overall "package". The let down of Sledgehammer Games to produce a "safe" Call of Duty Game instead of an innovative one that made any attempts to reinvigorate the franchise.
