On December 29, the day Webb also passed the Moon's orbit, NASA announced that Ariane had performed so well during launch that the telescope now has much more fuel available than we'd hoped for...In fact, Ariane was so precise in drawing Webb's trajectory to the Lagrangian L2 point that further future course corrections are unnecessary.
