With Stalker 2 almost out, or perhaps it has been released by the time you watch this video, you may be wondering which of the original trilogy you should play & what is the best Stalker game to play in 2024?

The answer is a little complicated. The most polished video game of the three is definitely Call of Prypiat, and it has an interesting story and great gameplay, but I think you really do have to start with Shadow of Chernobyl.

Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl introduces so many iconic locations & characters that it has to be the best of the original trilogy to play, on PC or Console.

The truth is that they're all good games, including Clear Sky, but you could miss that out and play SHoC then CoP, then you'd be ready for Stalker 2.
