We first saw these guys in the official 2018 extended gameplay demo where v and Jackie are paid to storm a building infested with a gang known as scavengers, to rescue a woman, likely been taken to be harvested for organs and cyberware and when you get to her and remove a chip from her head you’re notified via your own bio-monitor that something called the Trauma team have been dispatched… and minutes later, a group of dudes in a bad ass hover vehicle turn up with guns and helmets that cover their faces approaching you in full military style ordering you to hand over the woman.
Trauma team are a service you can purchase in night city of highly skilled mobile paramedics with state of the art medical facilities who’s sole job, when called upon, is to get to a client who is in a medical emergency within minutes, extract the client, stabilise them, and drop them off at the nearest hospital… BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY. A bad ass group consisting of a lead Emergency medical techie (medical professional that can handle flesh and cyberware problems, assistant EMT, 2 security officers outfitted with the latest and greatest smart weapons… and a pilot and copilot/gunner to transport you in a heavily armoured TTI medical variant AV-4 Aerodyne transport unit… that comes with a front mounted gatling gun for when things really kicking off.
