Who is the strongest Pokemon Trainer? Masters 8 AI Tournament!
52You may have seen a few months ago that I created an AI vs AI Pokemon Tournament, using the best trainers from the Indigo Plateau and I also [did the same with the Hoenn Region. Well today I have decided a good idea is to do it with the Masters 8!
Like last time I will be using a pokemon showdown bot to make this work. The teams have ben fed into it, and two instances of the bot are running. Bot 1 will challenge Bot 2 to a National Dex Anything Goes match on Pokemon Showdown. The replay is then saved to my PC and live commentary is recorded.
The tournament bracket follows the same as the Animes Masters 8. Much like in the anime the trainers can use either Dynamax/Mega/Z-Move (However no Z-Moves got used)
The trainers team composition was selected by first looking at their most recent Anime teams and the moves the Pokemon have. When needed the gaps have been filled with pokemon the game counterparts used. All fights are 6v6, unlike the 3v3 in the anime.
The only held Items are Mega Stones/Z-Moves Stones.
I should also state that the AI isn't a replica of each characters AI in the games. This is just a bot playing how it thinks is best against the other bot.
