Remember when Tekken 7 was originally released with 20-some characters? I'm pretty sure the same thing will happen for Tekken 8's, not to mention we might also see some characters on the chopping block to be removed... permanently.

For beginners just starting their trek into learning Tekken, I'd recommend against those characters who almost certainty won't be in the next game.
