TYPELOCKE RULES:
1. You must catch the first Pokemon you encounter on every route. Failure to catch is a forfeiture of that route’s encounter.
2. You must nickname every Pokemon that you catch.
3. If a pokemon in your party faints, either actively or passively (status conditions), it is considered dead and can not see the field again. It must be boxed or released.
4. No 2 Pokemon on a team can share a typing, i.e. Monferno and Machop are both fighting types, so they can not both be on the team.
a. If a Pokemon will gain a new typing upon evolution, until it evolves you can have the typing that it will evolve into elsewhere, i.e. Chimchar and Machop. Once that Pokemon evolves and gains its new typing, one member with that typing must be removed from the party.
5. If you have already caught the Pokemon you’ve encountered, or a member of it’s family, you may re-roll until you have a new encounter (dupes/species clause).
6. Static encounters are separate and can be caught and used. Berry tree encounters can be done once overall, unless dupes or species clause are enacted. Mythical gift Pokemon (i.e. Mew, Jirachi, and Manaphy, can be collected but not used.
7. Shiny clause is in effect.
