I tried reaaaaly hard to get into battle royale games, especially Call of Duty Warzone, but I just couldn't. There's too much waiting, too much faffing about before you can actually jump into the game itself. And once you are in, it's just a lot of running around a deserted map scanning the horizon for signs of hostile activity, only to be downed by some chode in the distance with a high-powered rifle scope. Rinse, repeat, ad nauseam.

Which is why I like Call of Duty Modern Warfare multiplayer. As someone who played video games solely for stories, which mostly meant single-player AAA titles, I didn't even know there was a difference between Warzone and multiplayer.

But now I do and I looove it!
