The death of the fourth hokage forever shaped the naruto world, but did you know Dazno could have prevented this death? Back when the nine tails was destroying chunks of the village, Minato wasn’t the only person who started to go confront the kyuubi, but Sasuke’s father Fugaku was one of the first to suspect there was foul play afoot and in the itachi shinden story of daylight, we learn that he was about to head to the battlefield where the nine tails first emerged and he planned to use his sharingan to place kurama under his control, something he flat out said was within his capability to do. However, before he could jump off the roof he was standing on, Danzo passed along via Anbu black ops that none of the uchiha were allowed to go anywhere near the nine tails, especially fugaku, instead he was to oversee the villagers evacuating. This pissed Fugaku off, because he knew what Danzo and the elders were really saying, we think an uchiha is behind this and we can’t trust you, which is sad, controlling the nine tails requires a mangekyou sharingan, which Fugaku had.
