A person named Abu Amir wrote a letter to the hypocrites of Madinah saying that I am trying in the country of Syria that the king of Rome invades Madinah and wipes out the Muslims from the world. But for this work it is necessary that you should stay together when the king of Rome attacks, so that you can help the king from within. Abu Amir also suggested that you build a magnificent building in the name of a mosque and hide and collect weapons in it. And hold mutual counsels here, and if any messenger comes from me, make him stay here.
According to the planning, Abu Amir's people built a magnificent mosque and went to Prophet Muhammad and said that the Quba Masjid is far away for many weak people, so we have built this mosque for their convenience. You must come here at any time and pray, so that you get blessings
But these people had this wickedness in their hearts that they will mislead the Muslims who will come to this mosque and will try their best to distance them from the Prophet so that the group of these Muslims will be broken, which will cause a decline in their progress.
Prophet Muhammad was preparing to go to Tabuk at that time, so he said that I am going to Tabuk now, on my return, if Allah wills, I will come there and pray there.
When he returned from Tabuk and reached near Madinah, the angel Gabriel Amin came down with these verses of Surah Al-Tawbah, in which he was told about the impure places of the hypocrites and he was prevented from praying there and even from standing. It is said that the reason for the construction of this mosque is to hurt the Muslims, that is why it became known as "Zarar Mosque".
He ordered some companions including Wahshi, Malik bin Dakhsham, Maan bin Adi and Aam Ibn Sakin to demolish this mosque and set it on fire. So these people burnt this mosque to ashes.
After burning
The place of Masjid Dharar was vacant, the Messenger of Allah gave permission to Asim Ibn Udi to build his house in that place. He does not like to build a house in an inauspicious place, but Thabit bin Ikram is in need, he has no house, so allow him to build a house here. According to his advice, you gave this place to Thabit bin Ikram, but it happened. That since Sabit came to this house no child was born or lived. Historians have written that human beings
Not even a hen was able to lay eggs in this place, no pigeons and animals flourished in this place, so since then this place has remained desolate at some distance from Masjid Quba.
