There are tons of games out there that have incredible sound design and soundtracks. However, there is one series of games that I think manages to use both to the fullest, that being the 2D Metroid games. Although Prime also nails both, today, I wanted to focus on the 2D titles (also because I have only played Metroid Prime 1 out of the series lol). But that said, how important of a role does sound design and music play in the 2D Metroid titles? From Super to Dread, let's talk!
