When you see faces or human-like shapes in regular pictures or patterns, it’s called “pareidolia.” Pareidolia is a psychological phenomenon where the brain perceives familiar and meaningful patterns, such as faces, in random or abstract stimuli, like clouds, rock formations, or even inanimate objects. It’s a natural tendency of the human brain to seek and recognize familiar patterns, which can sometimes lead to the perception of faces where there are none.
