9Capcom has announced they are shutting down Resident Evil RE:Verse, a multiplayer mode that launched with Resident Evil Village Gold Edition. It's the third failed attempt at a Resident Evil multiplayer game in recent years.

Resident Evil Re:Verse is shutting down on June 29, two and a half years following its release. The live-service game and its DLC packs will be pulled from all storefronts on March 3.
