Why does Wings of Vi crash Windows? (any minimized app can't be opened, only duplicated)

I'm not sure why this happens. But for the past 2 days I started playing Wings of Vi and after closing that game it makes me need to restart my computer. Any minimized application can't be opened. The task bar showing all active applications attempt to open a new application of what's already running.

Anybody have a fix for this? Or is Wings of Vi corrupting the Windows task bar? -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/rs_catherby
