This is the seventh part of a multipart review/retrospective/analysis of one of the best video games ever made, Final Fantasy VII. Join me as I explored the story of Cloud Strife, Aerith Gainsborough, Tifa Lockhart, Barret Wallace, Red XII, Yuffie Kisaragi, Cait Sith, Vincent Valentine, and Cid Highwind as they fight for the Planet against the evil Shinra Electric Power Company, the nefarious Ex-SOLDIER Sephiroth, and the eldritch Calamity from the Skies, Jenova.
In this section, I'll be covering the character of Cid Highwind, the mayor of Rocket Town and the inventor of the Shinra No. 26 rocket, the world's first spacecraft. When a mechanical issue in oxygen tank number 8 caused the launch to abort, Cid Highwind become angry and despondent, turning his frustration on Shera, his mechanical assistant and possible love interest. But he doesn't stay that way forever...
