You don't always need a gimmick or innovation for a game to be good. Sometimes, you just need more of the same thing you love, with just a few little updates.

In Metroid Prime 2: Echoes Samus Aran has a new assignment. To locate a team of Federation Troopers that went missing on a planet called Aether. As she arrives at the planet, Samus notices that the atmosphere is full of purple lightning storms, and her ship gets struck by one of them and has to do an emergency landing! Once on the planet's surface, Samus soon finds the Federation Troopers. Or what's left of them, as they've all been killed by the insectoid wildlife of the planet. But the Federation Troopers should have been able to defend themselves against these bugs, so why did they lose this battle? What is causing the energy fluctuations in the planets atmosphere? And what is the Dark presence that seem to permeate the entire planet? What has happened here?!? It's all up to Samus to find out the answers to these questions.
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes is the fourth Metroid-game that I play on my channel, after Fusion, Zero Mission and Metroid Prime 1, and is of course a blind playthrough!
