The hedgies are currently forcing the price of AMC, when the wider market falls, like it is, all stocks in the market fall alongside due to fear, people panic sell their stocks after seeing the wider market fall. however, this does not happen with AMC.
Paper hands have already sold and therefore the price of AMC would not be moving if the hedgies weren't forcing the price down with additional shorting.
In fact, AMC would be moving up, the spring has been sprung, RSI is at rock bottom and oversold, and negative Beta suggests that AMC should be moving upwards, but, the hedgies have stepped up their shorting efforts to make AMC look like its falling faster than the wider market.
