What is going on with AMC? We had a massive 20% day today! But what caused it? is this the AMC squeeze? what will happen next week?
Personally, I dont think the squeeze has even started and wont start until $70-100+, today was a good run up caused by the triple/quadruple witching date, coupled with some juicy little liquidations.
This caused the hedgies/Market Makers to hedge for all of the ITM options and they had to buy more and more/hedge more and more as the price went up.
I personally think January is more likely to be the squeeze based on the January 2022 options and the sheer number of FTD's hidden in them that will need to be purchased/reset again. However, I also wouldn't complain with a pre-Christmas squeeze ;)
