In 2019 the Wall Street Journal put out an article talking about how Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Vin Diesel, and Jason Statham all had clauses in their contracts that kept them from losing a fight on screen. This has always seemed wrong to me. In my opinion, the best heroes in movie history have always been the ones who are willing to take a punch and get a little bloody!
