5Why I Didn't Pre-Order The iPhone 11 to Upgrade My iPhone 6s // On the same day that Apple announced the iPhone 11, Pro and Pro Max, I went to my local Apple Store to trade in my four-year-old iPhone 6s for the iPhone XR. Last year I didn't pre-order the iPhone XR and kept my iPhone 6s for another year. Why did I trade in my iPhone 6s this year? Apple offered a $100 trade-in on the iPhone 6S and discounted the iPhone XR for by $150, making it possible for me to get a brand new iPhone for $500. There aren't that many differences between the iPhone XR and iPhone 11. I wasn't going to wait another ten days to pay an extra $100 to test the iPhone 11 for Apple.
