This rant is only my opinion, and my intention isn't to bring down Awakening or Fates as games, or criticize the people who enjoy them or the Pair Up mechanic. It's simply to express my viewpoint as someone who prefers the game balance and prior rescue mechanics in the entries without Pair Up.

I say currently in the title, because Pair Up is confirmed to be coming to Three Houses, and if they improve on the mechanic and how it affects the game there, I can see myself being fine with the mechanic or even liking it.

I just wanted to make this video prior to 3H's release to get my thoughts out there, and see how they age. I'm very excited for the game, and plan to pick it up at launch.
