Spider-Man 3 is one of the most passionately disliked superhero movies of all time. However, in recent years, it has gained quite a fanbase, whether it be ironic or otherwise. Today, we will close my retrospective on Sam Raimi's Spider-Man Trilogy with my thoughts on this divisive film.

The third, and final installment of the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man series was eagerly anticipated, but ultimately a film that didn't live up to the hype. Spider-Man 3's major flaw was that it tried to introduce too many characters and storylines; this was exacerbated by a failure to solidly connect those storylines.
