Why I utterly erased my Instagram page...
Certain aspects of social media and their addictive tendencies has caused great and possibly irreparable damage to my generation. Upon great reflection, I have decided to abstain from using Instagram - even to promote my own work.
What little successes I gain from it pales in comparison to the losses that I receive from it in terms of useful time. Many of my friends do not actively use the app and I envy their level of detachment - so I've decided to draw a line in the sand.
My goal will be to become more focused as more and more pressure is put upon me from university and alike so I wish to deliver better content and make the appropriate sacrifices to do so. I am often revered by people for my many skills in different areas but I do not let it go to my head. Everything comes at a cost - and it means giving up short term comforts like certain apps which I feel that I have been socially engineered into to begin with.
Hopefully, this will result in even more great content from me as I sail up the plane of gratification through craftsmanship. Self-improvement for musicians will be my goal and I want to spread the messages of improved workflow and fostering creativity.
