Are second editions or reprints a bad thing? By most consumer responses the answer would seemingly be yes…but why does this idea only affect the board game hobby and not other sectors? There are pros and cons to making a new addition, but I believe that the pushback of new editions tends to disincentivize creators to ever improve their games. So let's talk about that.
