Former Commander, Joint Forces Command, General (Retired) Sir Richard Barrons told Forces News that Russia's aim in attacking Ukraine's energy infrastructure is to 'degrade the will of the Ukrainian people'.

Russia's campaign, Barrons says, should be seen 'as a symptom of a war that's going to go on for a very long time'.
